Sounds more like bliz isn't sure setting all that work and going back to redo everything for your original, first WoW Classic experience is worth everything they feel will be a flop. I guarentee this crave or burning desire that people have for classic will be short lived as a month in people will realize they will never encounter that first time adventure AGAIN. I am glad I got to have that experience and that's good enough for me and myself have accepted that. What they need to do is start over with a game new graphics, a new universe, new tales a fresh adventure.
